Tips on Using The Keep In Touch Book

1. What activities did the camper enjoy/participate well in today?

2. Which peers did the camper interact with?

3. Did anything new or exciting happen today?

4. What's happening tomorrow?

5. Did any concerns arise that parents may be able to lend suggestions that are specific to the camper's special needs.

Extra Tips

* make sure positives of the day are stressed

* stay away from slang words like "nuts", "hyper", etc. these words can be interpreted in different ways

* take a look at old keep in touch books to get an idea as well (you'll find them in our office - just ask!!!)
