While we are gathering information from many camps, here is the mission statement from the JCC of Metropolitan Detroit, plastered right on their home page and in all of their literature, that should serve as a model for all camps.

A Center for Everyone!

To support our mission of inclusion, the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit enthusiastically welcomes everyone to use our

facilities and participate in our programs.

With sufficient notice, the Jewish Community Center may be able to provide individual inclusion counselors for children to enable their

successful participation in recreational classes and camps.

The JCC gratefully acknowledges The Jewish Fund, the Skillman Foundation and the Edward and Judith Narens Endowment for Children

with Special Needs for their support of our inclusive programming for youth.

Adults and children with special needs may be accompanied by a caregiver/support person to allow for their successful use of the Center's

facilities and their participation in general activities.
